Beware of Atlys: A Nightmare Experience in Visa Application

In today’s fast-paced digital world, convenience is king, and we often turn to online platforms to simplify complex processes like visa applications. Atlys, an app that promises to streamline the visa application process with a sleek user interface and seemingly seamless experience, appears to be a godsend. But behind the polished veneer lies a nightmare that unsuspecting users, like myself, have had to endure. Here’s my detailed account of the horrendous experience with Atlys that I wish I had known before entrusting them with my personal information and visa application.

The Alluring Bait

Atlys initially presents itself as a modern solution to the cumbersome visa application process. Their website and app are well-designed, giving the impression of a professional and efficient service. They entice you with promises of quick and easy visa approvals, backed by a user-friendly interface that makes the process look like a breeze. To give credit where it’s due, the user experience (UX) on the app is indeed impressive at first glance. They cleverly hook you in by making you believe that the entire visa process can be managed directly within their app, without the usual hassle of dealing with embassies or consulates.

The Trap: A False Sense of Security

Once you’re lured in by their promises, the app prompts you to provide an extensive list of personal details. This includes your passport information, photograph, family details, and other sensitive documents. At this stage, it feels like you’re on the fast track to getting your visa. The app’s seamless design and the ease with which you can upload your documents give you a false sense of security, leading you to believe that your visa is just a few steps away.

However, this is where the real problems begin.

The Nightmare Begins: Incompetence and Unprofessionalism

After submitting all your personal information, you might expect a prompt response or at least some indication that your application is moving forward. Instead, you are met with utter chaos. The first red flag is the lack of proper customer service. If you’re lucky enough to receive a call from them, brace yourself for frustration. The person on the other end of the line will have no idea who you are, what your application status is, or even why they are calling. Each new call is like starting from scratch; you are asked to provide your profile details repeatedly as if the app’s database is non-existent.

In my case, I received over ten calls within 30 to 40 days, each more frustrating than the last. Every conversation began with, "Sir, please tell your profile," as if they had no access to the information I had painstakingly uploaded. It became evident that their customer service is disorganized, untrained, and utterly clueless.

You get an email after 30-35 days, that everything is again needed, even info not asked or informed earlier, after 30-45 days applying VISA.


The Horror Show: Mismanagement and Lack of Accountability

The worst part of the experience comes when you realize that Atlys is not equipped to provide the service they promise. Despite uploading all required documents on their system, they repeatedly requested the same documents over email. These emails asked for highly confidential information that had already been provided, raising serious concerns about the security and management of your data.

When you confront them about their inefficiency or inquire about the status of your application, you are met with vague responses and empty promises. It’s as if they are trying to buy time, hoping you will eventually give up.

The Final Straw: No Service, No Refund

After weeks of dealing with their incompetence and unprofessionalism, I reached a breaking point and requested a refund. To my utter dismay, they outright refused. Despite failing to provide the service they promised, Atlys refused to refund the money I had paid. It became clear that once they have your money, it’s theirs to keep, regardless of whether they deliver the promised service or not. They will block you if you start complaining for them for bad service. This is what a customer gets in return. you cant even raise your complain to them, so arrogance and customer fucking attitude. 




A Trap Business: Stay Away

In conclusion, Atlys is a trap business that lures you in with the promise of convenience and a smooth user experience but fails to deliver on its core service. The incompetence of their customer service, the repeated requests for confidential documents, and the refusal to issue a refund make Atlys a company to avoid at all costs.

If you’re considering applying for a visa through Atlys, think again. Don’t fall for their polished app and empty promises. There are far better and more reliable ways to apply for a visa without subjecting yourself to the nightmare that is Atlys.


Final Thoughts

My experience with Atlys has been nothing short of a disaster. The time, energy, and money wasted on this platform could have been better spent elsewhere. I hope this detailed account serves as a warning to others who might be considering using Atlys for their visa application. Don’t be fooled by their sleek design and grand promises; the reality is a nightmare waiting to happen. Stay away from Atlys, and save yourself the frustration and financial loss.
